Turtle Creek is a private Tequesta golf course community comprised of single family homes, waterfront condos, and golf course villas. The development features an 18-hole golf course designed by noted golf architect Joe Lee. Originally designed in the 1970s, Lee’s layout incorporates five different tees intended to challenge golfers regardless of handicap. The golf course has undergone renovation in 2001, and the fairways and roughs got new grass layers over them in 2003. The golf club still remains one of the finest golf clubs in the Tequesta and Palm Beach area.
The community club includes amenities such as a grand clubhouse, on-site practice facility, heated swimming pool, and a dining venue that is perfect for business meetings or special events.
Built in the early 1970s, many of the Turtle Creek homes feature spacious floor plans on sprawling lots. While development has certainly caught up with this idyllic neighborhood, residents can still find plenty of the original early 1970’s homes for sale.
Homes in Turtle Creek community range from a two-bedroom condominium unit to a four-bedroom single-family house. Considering that many of the homes feature golf and lake views, the prices of homes for sale are quite reasonable. Here, home buyers can find homes priced from the low $100,000′s to just under a $900,000. In addition, many of the homes are near to the Loxahatchee River and include private boat docks right behind the home. This wonderful riverfront community with the finest golf club in Palm Beach area is calling everyone home!
